Booking Terms
The bungalow will be let for holiday purposes only and is not for residential use.
We will only take bookings for family type groups and are unable to take bookings from the same sex parties. The group leader taking responsibility for the rental must be 18 years or above of age at the time of booking. We reserve the right to decline prospective bookings without giving any reason. We operate a strictly NO SMOKING policy inside the home. We are unable to accept any pets. Total number of six people can be accommodated.
Deposit and Payment
A deposit of £50.00 per week rental will be payable at the time of booking and the balance of the total cost of the accommodation will be required no later than 8 weeks before your due arrival date. If you make booking less than 8 weeks before your due arrival date, payment of the total cost of the holiday will be payable immediately. We do not accept any form of credit cards, payment should be either cash, postal order, or cheque supported by a cheque card. To protect you against unforeseen circumstances causing you to cancel your booking, you should arrange a Personal Travel Insurance which includes Holiday Cancellation/ curtailment cover. Your local Insurance Broker or the Post Office will be able to advise you. ALL PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO: T L & S E I Wright.
Short breaks.
Short breaks can be booked anytime in advance except for the arrival periods: Easter, May Bank Holidays, the Friday prior to the last full week in July to the Saturday after August Bank Holiday, October half term and Christmas and New Year for which short breaks may only be booked 28 days in advance.
Arrival and departure
Please contact me, Mrs Sonia Wright, on 01822-852275 a few days prior to your arrival to arrange key collection and advise us of your estimated time of arrival. You can arrive at the bungalow after 3.00pm (1500 hours) on the start date of your holiday. Departure must be made by 10.00am (1000 hours) on the last day of your holiday. Normally the start changeover day will be Friday.
Damages and Breakages
Payment will be expected should any damage be done to the property or contents.
Security and Safety
The owners do not accept any responsibility for any personal injury whilst using the holiday home or any of the facilities at Honicombe Manor Holiday Village. We ask that you take reasonable care to secure the home while on the site or away from it by securing all doors and windows. Please also be aware if you should visit one of the many beaches in the area it is strongly advisable to check if lifeguard services are available and warning signs are observed.
Cancellation charges
Sometimes it is necessary to cancel a holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. We will always try to be helpful in difficult circumstances, but as part of our transparency policy the following cancellation charges might be applied. Full rental cost means any outstanding payments due and is the full cost of the rental period.
