Our rental holiday home is nestled on the edge of the steeply wooded Tamar Valley in Cornwall located in the South West of England. It provides breathtaking views towards Plymouth and beyond to the breakwater out towards the sea. The River Tamar separates Devon from Cornwall and the holiday home is located on the Cornish side of the valley, at Honicombe Manor Holiday Village. The location means that you will be within easy reach of Cornwall beaches and fishing villages, Dartmoor, as well as the market town of Tavistock and the bustling maritime City of Plymouth. Thinking of a visit to Lands End? It's only about 80 miles away. Such attractions as the Eden Project, the hidden Gardens of Heligan, the National Aquarium, the National Maritime Museum and the historic areas of the Barbican and Plymouth Hoe are all within easy driving distance for day trips. Enjoy Golf? There are many golf courses nearby including St Mellion. There are a number of National Trust properties nearby including Cotehele House, Buckland Abbey and Lanhydrock. To enjoy a holiday here it is advisable to have a car.
Holiday Rental Home
Our holiday home is comfortable and well equipped, situated on the Honicombe Manor Holiday Village and is a double glazed purpose built terraced bungalow.
Accommodation comprises 3 double bedrooms an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over a bath, wash basin and a separate toilet and hand basin. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other two have twin beds, sleeping six people comfortably.
Services include electric heating, colour TV, video player, stereo/cd player, microwave, cooker, fridge all operated by a single £1 coin meter.
We also provide all bed linen and towels and a welcome pack, which includes tea, coffee and milk should you arrive late. Please note that the towels are only intended for use in our home. Please bring your own towels for the beach or swimming pools. There is a small but adequate patio for which we provide some outdoor furniture.

Short breaks.
Short breaks can be booked anytime in advance except for the arrival periods: Easter, May Bank Holidays, the Friday prior to the last full week in July to the Saturday after August Bank Holiday, October half term and Christmas and New Year for which short breaks may only be booked 28 days in advance.
Additional Charges.
Taking effect from January 2008, the cost of using the on-site leisure facilities will be automatically included in the tariff. These include indoor and outdoor swimming pools (not all year around), restaurant, bar, tennis courts, shop and laundrette.
However, some of the best beaches in the area are only about 15 miles away, and famous surfing beaches like Polzeath and Newquay are approximately 40 miles. There are also indoor swimming facilities in Tavistock 6 miles. Several good pubs are in the immediate area most of which serve excellent food. For a more special occasion you might like to try the well known restaurant The Horn of Plenty.
